A bit about me, my name is Amy Di Bartolomeo. I’m half English, half Italian. My father is Italian, my mother English. I love my family. I love cooking. I’m really passionate about what I do. Everything I do I do with passion. I love to create love by being around people. I love hanging out with my dog. I was born in the Midlands, and now I’ve lived in London most of my life. I love to travel. I’ve spent the past 11 years travelling around the world with my job, and I love it.

There are a few specific moments I remember from when I was little that made me realise I had to perform. I think one of them was seeing my first West End show, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, following pop stars like the Spice Girls and Britney Spears. And I’ll just never forget the feeling that I had, the escapism and the joy that it brought in my belly whenever I performed. I knew that I wanted to feel that feeling forever.

I think being a part of the industry for 11 years and meeting so many incredible talents and incredible people. I always make sure that my feet never leave the ground and I always make sure that I do everything with gratitude and and Grace because I am so lucky to be able to do something that I love and call it my job And when you do get booked on a job there is a lot of luck to be considered in it because essentially this statistic is 7% of Actors work so I am always aware of that and grateful for moments where I can create with a room full of incredibly talented people.

I absolutely loved wearing the highest possible heels in the show. It made me feel so fabulous, and I really enjoyed wearing them every day. I mean, live in the dream, Prada shoes, Versace shoes, Terry Havilland.

I think my favourite song to perform was how to 'Survive Runway because it was that joyful mixture of acting through song real character moment, and also getting into really singing and riff the hell out of it

I think if I could give myself one piece of advice to my younger self, it would be to be myself, be yourself, be unapologetically yourself stand in confidence in yourself and keep going, it’s just gonna get better and better and better.
