The Italian Christmas Eat
Fucina is the latest dining concept from Kurt Zdesar, the driving force behind iconic London restaurants Chotto Matte, Black Roe and Nobu. Located in a light and airy pocket of Marylebone, Fucina offers a modern interpretation of traditional Italian flavours and dishes using the finest seasonal ingredients sourced from across the UK and Italy. An innovative approach to modern Italian dining reflected in its architecture, devised by Andy Martin Architecture, with the use of natural materials in earthy tones which creates an intimate space that seamlessly moves from cosy and convivial during the day to sexy and atmospheric during the evening.
From Tuesday, 20th November until 2nd January, the innovative dining destination features a glamorous Italian festive themed install. Covering the interior of the restaurant in spectacular red poinsettia, they've really captured the Christmas spirit with an Italian edge which provides an impeccable picture perfect opportunity. Incorporating glittery baubles, rich red apples and gold pots, Fucina is the perfect place to gather with friends, family and be merry this Christmas.
Complementing the installation, modern interpretations of indulgent dishes including scallops with fois gras and black truffle, lobster risotto and ravioli filled with pumpkin, cavolo nero served with a Parmesan sauce will be available.
The floral installation has been created and brought to life in conjunction with events agency Marble LDN and florist Petal and Grace.
For those celebrating in numbers, Fucina’s lavish chef’s table, designed by Andy Martin Architecture, seats up to 14 guests and is ideal for enjoying the restaurant’s delectable yet simple festive menu.
